Humira vs. Embril ?

Hello everyone

I am new to the forum. I have been on Humira for two months now for having something like Rhum. arthritis. I am ana positive and have nothing spicific as far as a dx. I have constant inflamation/pain in both of my knees and i am showing little improvement on Humira along with Mtx and 15 mgs. of Prednisone and Plaquinil too ( fun...). My dr. says to give it one more month and if not feeling better, then possibly try Embril. Does anyone have any good advise or experience with trying different combos. of drugs ??? welcome chris girl. there are people here taking those meds and hopefully can let you know their experiences.

Hi there,

I take Enbrel (50mg) and I also take the MTX and plaquenil..The Enbrel works but it doesn't last the full week for me, and after about three days my pain is back, even with all the other meds. So after my prescription runs out in a couple of weeks, I will be trying two injections of Enbrel twice per week (25mg) and see if this works better. I've never had Humira.

Hi and Welcome,
I have Crohn's, Osteo-arthritis and RA, I am doing Remicade which helps the Crohn's and my arthritis's.
