Hi all! Can you tell me anything about gout? I feel this tingling sensation on my toetips and it's causing some discomfort. My friend told me it's possibly gout. I'm not really sure about it but he's telling me the symptoms like pricking pain on my toetips, lump building on fingers or toes is caused by gout. Can you give me more idea on this and how to treat it?

Gout can be hard to diagnose, but your description doesn't sound like gout. If you see a doctor, he'll be looking for a red, very painful, inflamed joint, usually proximal to the big toe. He'll likely order a test for uric acid levels in your blood, which is highly associated with gout. First line treatment is generally an NSAID like ibuprofen, diclofenac or indomethacin. They may recommend dietary changes as well.

psAinCanada is right. The best thing to do to get your condition properly diagnosed is to see a doctor. Just in case it's indeed gout, you'll be asked to clear your diet from food rich in uric acid. Also, a medication like Colchicine will be prescribed for gout attacks. Don't worry, though. Medications for gout are pretty much available on almost any pharmacy out there. I'm sure whatever will be prescribed to you will be available in your area. So see a doctor and that should be your first step. :)
