Need some advice quick!

Hi guys, I'll keep this short as poss but would love some feedback from ANYONE who has been in the same situation.

I'm getting married in 2 weeks and as a surprise we are being sent to Thailand for honeymoon. We've been told 3 different things by the Thai embassy here in Aust about travelling into Thailand with painkillers. My fiance just called me and told me that the embassy has now said that there is no way they will allow any type of narcotic into the country. At first they said we were to have a list of meds from the doctor regarding the painkillers and other meds I am on but now it looks like I cant take them in!!

I am taking MScontin 15mg, Oxycodone 5mg. at the moment

Has anyone been to Thailand recently with the same situation?

I just rang the embassy and asked them about it. apparently I have to go to the international hospital with a letter from my doc and get prescribed the meds over there, but cant take them in. This is infuriating! not to mention the fact that if I do get over there then cant get the meds UI will be spending the better half of my honeymoon going through morphine withdrawals. how exiting.. I am emailing the international hospital for clarification on all of this.
