Hi finally saw my Rheumy Doctor

Well I saw my Rheumy Doctor yesterday. I had to wait almost an hour for my appt. She wants
me to stop my Humira and switch to Enbrel. I called my GI Doctors nurse she said its not approve
from Crohn's Disease. Well I have an appt: with my Gi Doc. Feb 15th and then another appt:
with my Rheumy Doctor in 2 months.

I can hear your frustration, TB! I hate getting messed around by specialists especially if they're not talking to each other and the outcome is we have to wait longer to be treated correctly... how annoying. Suggest your GI doc talks to your rheumy or better writes a letter. They need to communicate so you're not left out in the cold!

Why enbrel?

I'm going through a similar frustration at the moment where my rheumy is looking for new options and won't be tempted to try new meds like simponi or actemra. Which I'd like to try, instead she is looking at enbrel or back on arava!!!

My Rheumy says yes it works for Crohn's and RA. GI Doctor says nope. Well have to wait until
I see my Gastro doctor this month.
