I am new and could use some pointers please!

Hi All,
I am reading this and I am becoming enlightened very quickly! I had a terrible fall in November and developed this excruciating neck pain as a result. I have serious back issues too, with several bulges and herniation in lower lumbar region. I had my first appointment with a neurosurgeon, because of back problems and this new neck thing. I was sent home without an MRI on my neck and I knew something was very wrong, so I went to the chiro to order me an MRI...after the results came in, he still insisted that with manipulation he could help...He made it worse!!! First off I just turned 46 and have had a stiff neck for years, but have dealt with it. I was seeing a chiro after this accident at a motel and he was insistent that he could help...I swear to you I thought he was paralyzing me. I set up a second appointment with a neurosurgeon and not able to see him until the 25th of February. I contacted the Laser Spine Institute in Florida to help. They told me that I had OPLL. It also said on my MRI that I needed a CT to rule this out. Apparently it is very evident and seen on the MRI. I was told that the ossification was at the C5 area and they couldn't go in there to fix, because of the placement. I also have a herniation at C5... I have been so upset... I was reading about the symptoms here and I have been having throbbing intense headaches, blurry vision and intense neck and shoulder pain for 3 months now...24/7...I also have developed a huge bony protrusion on my collarbone that is growing everyday. I have seen countless and incompetent DRs that I am losing hope. Does anyone else have this clavicle problem? I went to the ER thinking after my fall I broke my collarbone and wasn't showing up until 3 weeks later. I forgot to mention that I am Female too...how rare is all of this, not to mention the intense pain with no help.
I am at the last leg of hope here...I have been falling for 15 years and never had a Dr. x-ray my neck until Nov 09. I also have Degenerative Discs in C3-7...is there any help or questions I could ask my DR? I do feel like if I move the wrong way I will be paralyzed...I am terrified!

I agree with teddybear, maybe another Dr.s opinion is needed.

Do you take painkillers or any other med?

If you were diagnosed with OPLL, have you been offered any treatment?
