tingly numb feeling???

Quick question. I have a busy day ahead of me today, so I wont have time to go to any doctor. So I wanted to ask here if anyone has had what I am experiencing.

Since about 4:30 pm yesterday my last two fingers on my left hand(pinky and ring) have had the tingly numb sensation. The feeling goes down into my palm but only under those two fingers.  Its kinda like they are 'asleep'  before you move them and wake them up. But they never wake up, so no hurting or prickly feelings just the numbness tingly feeling. Make sense? Any way this is new, and has been a few hours....I was hoping it would go away after a sleep. But it is still here this morning. Has anyone else had this happen?

Is it normal, or a new symptom that is a sign of something getting worse or bad? Any  information anyone can give me would be great, thanks.

I know I should probably go talk to a doctor, but I have lotsa things to do with my kids today,so I will put off that step for today....

Before I "came down" with RA I had that asleep feeling in my hands at times.
Are you on Humira? I saw in my leaflet that you should report any numb tingly sensations. I just went on recently.

Thanks for responding. No I am not on Humira. The tingling is still there....if it is there for a couple days I guess I should get it looked at.

i have the tingling from my elbows to wrist into my hands. it was one of my first symptoms before being Dx.

thanks for replying. does the tingling ever go away? or is it going to be yet another symptom to just live with? thanks for the advice

well its almost been two weeks and my left hand last two fingers, and left side of palm and up my arm abit are still tingly feeling. Its fun to type...lol as you really feel the tingles when you touch something. I dont know if this is a normal side effect or symptom to be expecting, i think ill look up online and see what i can find out

I would definitly look up the meds you are taking. I had an issue on Remicade, I'd wake up and the same area would be numb but hurt. I'd hop out of bed and spend 10 minutes trying to 'wake' it up...scary feeling.  someone said it sounded like carpl tunel, but it eventually stopped after I stopped the med.

thanks for the reply, i will look up my meds on line and see what i can find out.  i am not on much, plaquenil and amitriptyline and vitamin d and tylenol 3 for pain.... but its definitley looking into.:)
