Hi Ladywriter, so sorry to hear about
the pneumonia. It seems we always go 3 steps forward, 2 steps back, then 1 step forward , 3 steps back... take it easy though. Pneumonia is serious and really takes it toll on your energy supplies. It took me 3 -4 month to recover from my dose of it. Nasty bug.
But stay positive I reckon catching bugs is part and parcel of being on these immuno suppressants so take it in your stride and you will get back there again.
I'm just beginning to go into a good phase and I'm sort of scared of saying it incase I jinx myself!!! Hopeless case.
Just started back on himira after being on orencia for 9 months, so far so good. I'm keeping up my physio, my walks and just trying to stay on top for once. It's very tempting to try to do too much and I keep pushing my boundaries, very exciting.
Still being annoyed by bursitis in my hips, but I'll speak to my physio about it.
Anyway, good luck with you pneumonia, lots of rest time, keep yourself propped up and try and cough up as much of the goo as you can manage. I remember it being like a tar, it was so hard to cough up and a dirty brown colour. Nasty! I needed two different types of anti biotics to shift it, just couldn't get rid of it.
I hope if they caught you early that you recover quickly. But remember to not push yourself, it can leave you with weakened lungs for a while.
So good to hear you were doing so well though, really wonderful, golitho
