gentle exercise is really good. Walking on the flat, bike riding on the flat, exercising underwater all are reccomended exercise for us. You feel stronger and your joints are better for it.
BUT pace yourself, don't over exercise or you will flare.
If I go for a walk sometmes I hurt for the first 5-10 minutes then the pain lessons and I can walk for half an hour other times the pain just gets worse, you have to listen to your body.
My physio said start with 5 minutes and slowly build up the time week by week. She also told me to change tasks. So if your hands are sore go for a walk, if your legs are sore, do something with your hands.
Stretches are good but don't over extend the joints.
I go to hydrotherapy once a week and its really built up my core strength.
So Yes exercise but be careful, golitho
