Any RA support group in ur state ?

There is a national RA website (USA) and it does list support groups by States,
there is one in Texas, but nothing very strong here in Houston, so it's very disappointing,
plus they don't do much other than the jingle bell run/walk. Sure wish they
did have more local support groups. The Fibromyalgia group which
meets every other month here in Houston is the only thing we got, good luck in finding
something maybe start a local group up............

I have nothing in my area. I live in Lafayette, LA and my doctor is in Baton Rouge, LA.
She told me that there is nothing in this area for AS. This forum is the best.
It is nothing like talking to someone in person, but the forum friends will get some of it better than he will. I like the idea of having both available. That shouldnt be too much to ask, right. After all, Im not asking for a cure, but if any of you have one....lol....you wouldnt be on here if you did.
Not to mention that a "healthy" person doesnt always get my odd humor or dark humor, as my husband calls it. At the bottom of someones message earlier, it said "What doesnt kill us makes our insurance premiums go up". Most people wouldnt find that so darn funny, but I do and Im sure half of us on here might too.
