The results are in!

Hi all- got my blood results today and guess what? I am in range in every area!!!!!!!!!!
AST and ALT are back to low normal ranges even though I was drinking responsibly!

I feel like I got an Easter miracle! This follows up the Christmas miracle I got 3 years ago when I was so ill and they suspected RA yet I wasn't responsive to any of the treatments, had lost 23 lbs. in 2 weeks and was just declining. They said maybe you have a malignancy and did a CT scan of ny head, chest and abdomen the day before Christmas Eve- it came back clear! I had been so worried just like now.

Oh- and isn't it amazing that without MTX since mid December all my inflammation markers are in range too? Don't know what to think....

Oh that is such great news Weary. I've had guests over the last week so only now logged on again. I'm so pleased for you.

Wonderful to be having a remission of your symptoms. Just go out there and enjoy.

I have been doggedly decreasing my prednisone and I am now down to 4mg and I feel pretty good too. My GP reckons at 5mg you're making your own cortisone so I am back in the safe range. I just hope I hang in there once I'm off it completely!

Thrilling for you to be off the mtx though. I'd love to decrease that one!
