Need new doctor!

I need some help! I am having problems with my doctor's office and I need recommendations for a good rheumatologist in the south Orange County, California area. I just went through trying Humira and had a unpleasant allergic reaction to it. My doctor's medical assistant had the nerve to call me and tell me that the rash was my fault and that I did not inject it correctly. I stopped her and said 1- the rash did not appear for a week and two days after the shot and 2- the nurse was there when I gave myself the shot! I have had other problems as well with the office and need to get a second opinion right away! Any advice???

I have had problems with the doctor's staff at other places in the past, like the doctor's office where they would never answer the phone. I guess you could complain to the doctor, but it seems like that doesn't do any good and you end up dumping the doctor because of the staff.

I used to go to a psychologist who shared a secretary with a psychiatrist -- my psych. told me other clients had complained about the secretary being unprofessional, but there she was, in for good, scowling meanie who you can tell hates crazy people.

I'm not super thrilled with the setup at my rheumatologist's office, you feel like cattle going through a chute at a meat packing plant, but now I'm feeling better and not so sure i should go somewhere else. I was thinking of it

I had a bad experience at my first RD's office too. They were the meanest people I have ever encountered! I did tell the doctor but she wasn't really friendly either and she didn't explain things or like to be questioned.

I am not in your area so I cannot recommend a doctor. I do suggest you find one though. RA is enough on your plate without being treated like crap!
