I am a female & have RA which moves around my body. Lately I have been having a terrible painful area at the top of my left leg bone. The pain is close to the groin area. Bending over or lifting up my leg to get into the bathtub is very painful. I am taking Ibruprofen & Hydracodone 5mg but neither helps it much. Anyone else have any pain in this area? What do you take? Thank you!

Sounds like a flare up in the joint. Try heat and rest. If still bad call Rheumy for something stronger.

It can be muscle cramp for which you must apply ice to the tender muscles and also heat therapy would be effective for dealing with some of the symptoms. Stretching can also help.
