tongue  Have to tell you all how much better I feel...  thanks for all of the support I have had on here.  Everyone is so very nice. Plaquenil is awesome... it has give me back my life again. I am working full time without having to take of and go home and rest. I really appreciate all of the advice on here.  Everything that I was told is exactly what the plaquenil is doing for me. I have been achy this past week quite a bit but I may be over doing it a bit...lol  I hope that when I go back for bloodwork next month that it shows the plaquenil and cimzia are working like they should be.  I sure don't wanna be took off of either one.   I hope you all have a great rest of the week. That is wonderful news Peggy! The Plaquenil was like a wonder drug for me when I was on it. Please make sure you get that baseline eye exam for Plaquenil users if you have not already done so, it is very important. I didn't get one, and when one of my eyes showed damage I was taken off of Plaquenil. I hope it keeps working for you, it sounds like you have found your *cocktail* :-)

thanks so much for the encouraging words. I did have a baseline on my eyes done and I will def. keep up with that. Thanks for all the good advice I just love how supportive folks are on here it really does help. I hope I can be just as supportive to others... Yeah I think my coctail is pretty close to perfect... hope it stays that way. I tell ya humidity does reak havic on ya tho... past few days I have felt the aches and pains from it but still over all I am doing awesome. Sure cannot complain about a few aches and pains when overall I am doing so good. Hope you have a great weekend.

That is true about humidity! I traveled to a part of the country not too long ago that is very hot and humid, and the day after I arrived, I could hardly get out of my hotel bed, it was something else! I'm sorry you have to deal with that!

Its a small price to pay tho as it can be so much worse as you know. Where I live the humidity can be a killer at times...lol but I feel so much better I can deal with this...Hope you have a great weekend

plaquenil damaged my eyes. i had lazer surgery, but they still aren't right. i'm still on it.

Plaquenil did that for me too-I needed other meds for the inflamation but the plaquenil got rid of the horrible fatigue so I felt alive again.

Peggy, Just get your reg eye exams and you should be fine. I don't know if you are aware of this but most insurances will pay for the eye exam every 6 months due to the fact you have ra or lupus and or on plaquenil.

Hi Peggy, that’s really wonderful news that Plaquenil is working well with you and you are being recovering from your problems. It is one of the effective baseline drugs that reduce the flares.

It is working great for me. I think the prednisone that I am on is making me feel awful with my gerd but I go for an appt. this afternoon and that is one thing that I am addressing with my rheumy. Hope you have an awesome day!
