Mtoms, I watched some of that video and the guy in it say he has osteoarthritis no mention of RA, so very skeptical about
this medication and he's take it for over 6 months and only getting so so results to me and I think you can get the same results with COQ10...Until better reviews come out for provallen (sp?) best person to ask is your RA Doctors...

Just started on the antibiotic protocol using minocyclene. Had to go to a second rheummy and she was not thrilled about
it but agreed to let me give it a go for 3 months to see how things progress. My first rheumotologist absolutely refused to give me antibiotics so I was determined to find someone who would after reading about
it on line. I am also on celebrex and tramadol occasionally for the pain. In addition, after consulting with a holistic nurse practitioner and doing research, I have switched to a gluten free, dairy free (except for small amounts of Greek yogurt) and anti-inflammatory diet and have added a bunch of supplements to my daily regimen. From when this first show up 6 weeks ago to today, I am 96% better- so am hoping this last piece- the antibiotic regresses the disease and puts me into remission. I understand however, that this protocol could take months to actually make a difference but unless I have a major flare up, I plan to stay on this for at least 3 months to see if there's any change.
Info on the antibiotic protocol can be found in many places on line but the best starting place is roadback.org. They have been around for a long time and there have been thousands of patients who have had great results. I wanted to give this a try before doing one of the more drastic protocols- so we will see how this goes. Am VERY hopeful! They can also give you a list of doctors in your state who will administer this protocol. I was very encouraged and impressed after reading the research and the books.

My sister is nagging me to try Flax seed oil. Anyone tried it? I heard it can raise your cholesterol levels, but I've read that it is quite helpful for arthritis.

There are many positive testimonials about
bee venom therapy. See the Apitherapy Association website or modernhippie.org for guidance. I have been on the paleo AIP diet for months without success.

There is a great product that has worked very well for me so much so that I got off all meds for several years & had my kids. After birth of my 2nd child I had a stroke due to a clotting condition called APS (anti-phospholipid-antibody syndrome), which was undiagnosed. My dr contacted my old RA dr & he put me on 80mg pred till they could diagnose me. This sent my body into a fury & woke up my RA. That was 7 yrs ago. Fearing another stroke, I did what I had to until we figured this thing out, then told my med. dr. I wasnt going back to RA dr. After carpul tunnel involvement & unbearable pain I went back about
18 mths ago tried Humira, Enbrel, Humira again then Orencia. My body revolted every time I injected. Couldn't sleep thru the night, got between 2-4 hrs a night. I stopped RA dr again. Ordered myself my old herbal supplement & have slept solid every night from the very first night I got started back on them. I have a lot less inflammation & pain, am tapering down pred. as well!! It works👍 It is called BOS WELYA PLUS by Ayush Herbs its Ayurvedic. I take 5 a day, my chiropractor had me on 6/day several yrs ago. There's many sights to order from I got mine from www.healthygoods.com I've never had side effects from it but every person should watch for their own interactions/side effects as nobody knows your body like you yourself! Good luck! We all need it!
