Hi and welcome aboard Kiko1. I can certainly relate and I can tell you from my experiences this last year that although I am on several medications for RA I still have intermittent flares and don't feel well. My knees and feet have been swollen and sore lately as well. Treatment can take quite a while to sort out and many of the medications can take months to work. With that said;

Don't lose hope.

I really try to take things one day at a time which helps me to not get overly depressed about things. I too have had all kinds of issues recently. I have been taking MX for a month now and I am finally beginning to see some difference in how I feel. It has made a big difference. I have had alot of problems with Prednisone though which I have been taking for most of the year. It surely helps when I am in a flare but long term use has had a lot of side effects for me.

I hope you feel better soon. I was on Enbrel for 12 years and it made a huge difference with my RA. If I were to measure how much it helped I would say that I was 85% most of the time with some flare ups but not frequent. I was certainly able to do most things I wanted to. One of the things with RA is that medications can take a while to work but also that they may work and then begin losing effectiveness for seemingly no reason. No medication has completely taken all of my symptoms away but many of them have helped tremendously. It just takes time and patience. A journal is a good way to document how you are feeling so that you can share the info with your Doctor and hopefully find a plan that works for you.

When I can't run around with my kids which is most of the time I try to find other ways to spend time with them like playing games or reading to them. I have two girls so the big thing with them for a long time was pet shops. We spend time making pet shop forts and all that stuff. Really just anything to spend time with them. Hang in there! -Don

Also I started having seizures. . Has anyone else experienced this?

You Really need to get a better check done even a second opinion from a neutral doctor, I went to a new Dr and didn't give them any of my previous doctors so they had No notes or other opinions to go by and I found they looked more in depth ok I got the same diagnosis but it helped
definitely Don't mess around with seizures every one kills off some brain cells.
