Today I've got something weird going on with my hands....
they are tingling like low voltage is being run through them

They are tingling so much it feels like they are asleep and they feel hot to the touch.
My hands feel clumsy and hurt too.

Is this RA related or should I check out my other issues?

my husband complains of these symptoms ...carpal tunnel syndrome
It's hard to believe that he would have this and I would have RA...

The feeling has changed to my whole hand feeling inflamed.

Very tender at the joints

I would agree with the carpal tunnel, as I had that too, and was so tingly and clumsy that I finally got surgery and instant relief. However, the hot painful joints...gotta be the RA, don't you think?

I'm thinking my hands were so swollen that a nerve in both hands was pinched.
it was a very weird experience. Today they're achy and stiff some.

Yes, Weary, so true. Seems like RA and just about everything go hand in hand, either from the RA or from the lowered immune system from RA and/or meds. I rarely had any occasion to go to the dr until I got RA. Now I've had multiple arthroscopic surgeries, broken wrist, severe bronchitis, constant bruising, shingles, plantars warts, athletes foot, etc. I get my blood monitored every three months for liver damage. Just about every time I go to the doc for something other than joint pain, she begins by saying "well, because you have RA...blah, blah, blah. And hell, yes, I'm thrilled that I am getting off easier than most!! My heart goes out to all of you that are experiencing much worse symptoms than I endure. Hang in there and try to keep your spirits up...easier said than done, I'm sure.

I can't use my right hand to push up on. My wrist hurts right in the center when I use it to push up on or lean on.

That's always been my sore spot. Even if I'm not in pain- I no longer have the ability to push up without pain.

I've got to find a new way to stand up without pushing with my hands.

I get so tired of the sudden shooting pains in my hands. Takes my average pain level of 4 to a whopping 9 in seconds.

I have the same thing and my RA doctor said carpal tunnel & RA. I had surgery 20 years ago on both hands for carpal but I guess it comes back esp. with RA. I get it bad in my right hand where it goes up to my elbow just like it did 20 years ago. Seems my RA comes out mostly on my right side and that is my weak side from the Annie's / stroke in 2004. Isn't life great???? But spring is here am I'm happy and alive. I hope you find some answers and help for this....
