Methotrexate and Ibuprofen

I just fell over the hose in the back garden. My knees hit the cement block we have back there for some stupid reason, and my weight went to my shoulders. My head fell into the mulch. I have shoulder and knee pain frequently, but right now I just ache everywhere. How bad is it to take a couple of Advil?

I would take some along with a few ice packs.

How are you doing since your tripping incident? Hope you are healing and back outdoors gardening again.

Hi Beth and Joy and everyone else,

The fall, the sinus infection, the UTI, and everything else led to my first flare. Jeeze. I feel like I first did, before methotrexate. I called the Dr, and they gave me a prescription for medrol dose pack. I don't know if I'll take it though.

Oh, and I did take two Advil after the fall.

So sorry about your fall and UTI. We don't need these kind of things with RA!!! I wonder about taking some advil too and how often we can take it without damage to the GI area. Did you call your Dr. to ask?
