hands feel like on the verge of a flare

down to 4 mg pred and oh no hands are so sore tonight-especially the left.
knees stiff, ankles and feet sore when I walk
don't care- getting off this crap
I feel like my whole body is swelled and bloated because of it. Every day I get bigger

Prednisone a hard drug to get off with the benefits it gives. I got off it once got to where pain was unbearable was taking more narcotic pain pills than I was prescribed I knew at once I was going down a rocky slope. It had to stop. I'm back on prednisone but this time I didn't gain weight ( last time I put on 40lbs! ) I lost the weight and starred the prednisone again. Lucky this time I didn't explode. Maybe it will work better if you stop then start back again. I know how bad it hurts. Trust me. I'm sorry your in pain but hope the best for you stopping the steroids. Gentle ((( hug)))
