Managing joint pain in hands

Hi Emmie there is a lovely one but a bit involved and works best if you have a helper to wrap hands,
you will need to buy some paraffin wax most chemist stores have it then you will need a slow cooker (you will not cook in again) you melt the wax so its hot but not burning soak hand in it till covered then repeat so double dipped then cover hand in plastic wrap then either bandage or put in sack leave hands like this for at least 15-20 mins till all warmth has gone then un wrap and peel off the wax (wax can be reused lots of times) you will be Amazed.

another good one is to get some compression gloves I got mine thru the occupational therapist but I think chemists and medical supply stores have them

The paraffin really helps. My wife worked in a salon for several years and would treat my hands and feet with it when they were particularly bad and it is very soothing. I find that a heating pad helps as well and will wrap it around my affected area and soak in the heat.

Plastic cups and a device to help open jars is a real help also. I hope you find some relief soon and your hands start behaving!
