Thank you Beth. Right now I'm on Celebrex 2x a day and prednisone 5-10mg a day. I'm still on the humira, but it only works for about 5-6 days, and doesn't give me full relief like it did before. My joint pain has come back like crazy. I haven't had a flare like this in 15 years or more. I've had JRA since I was 15. I'm now 50. Unfortunately when I was diagnosed, they really didn't have to much to help with the joint damage, mostly just pain relievers. What little they had (gold, plaquenille) didn't work for me. I've had double hip replacements. I've been doing great though, and consider myself lucky 🍀. I know that I could be way worse. I never took it for granted how great I felt on humira. I was thankful every day. So it's really depressing that it stopped working and that I am back to having trouble getting moving in the mornings. My ankles and feet are really bothering me. I had to stop my humira twice this winter due to illness. Once I restarted, it just doesn't work. I've taken 3-4 injections with no improvement. Through research, and speaking with my doctor, I've found out that your bday can develop antibodies to the medicine, which make it useless. I know that my doctor feels bad that he had me stop the medicine, but he was just doing what he thought was best for me. Hopefully the enbrel will work.
