Hi everyone,
I had suffered from chronic left arch pain.
I had been smoking for 5 years, about a half pack per day.
I stopped smoking but my pain became worse.
I felt pain in my left arch, left knee, achilles tendon (Bilateral)
Then my pain spread to knuckles of fingers (Bilateral), wrist
I had blood tests, and everything(C-Reactive Protein, HLA-B27, CK, C4 & C3 Complement, DSDNA, RA, Anti CCP, Scl-70) was negative and normal except ANA positive 1 : 160, homogeneous.
Also my doctor ordered X-ray for my knee, but normal radiograph was obtained.
She even said that there is no sign of inflammation or swelling.
I had red, dry eyes, and was seen by an ophthalmologist, but he did not see any inflmmation.
I have seen three rheumatologists and both of them concluded that I do not have lupus nor any other autoimmune disease.
Moreover, all of them examined the body parts but they did not figure out inflammation.
I also have been suffering from weird left rib pain, but X-ray was normal too.
However, my joint pain is improved but not gone totally, and since yesterday, it became worse again.
My left knee pain is chronic and I feel random joint pain (i.e. joint pain migrates - fingers - wrist - hip - elbow etc)
I was not given any medication other than Naproxen.
What should I do?
Should I request MRI for my knee and arch?
Is it possible to have RA even all the markers are negative? (Including RA, Anti CCP negative)
I am a 23 year old male, Asian, no family history of autoimmune disease.
