Hi Jellybean. It seems like you may have spondylitis-ish issues. I would recommend you see a rheumy because if you do have spondylitis (which is common with IBD), it can do some damage to your joints. The biologics treat spondylitis quite well--I believe enbrel is actually FDA approved for it. Of course, the biologics also have benefits for IBD. Are you taking any? Remicade? That's why you should go to a rheumy. They are more likely to prescribe the biologics, unless you are already receiving one from your GI for the IBD.
