Hey, I sent a referral from the lupus forum.....Do I get a prize?

"Well I'm not a lovely lady, although I hope to be one someday. There's a few AS people in the arthritis forum as well, post there as well if you have any questions. Erin and Ducky know everything about everything, kinda like God, cept with swollen knees and a hangover. Just don't tell then I said that, their heads are big enough (kidding!). Anywho, take care."

I think the Lupies & arthritis forum should combine forces and UNITE!  I mean, it's all rheumatics!  We can become the ultimate empire. Hoorah!

Oh, is my state the Tomato? or Tomatoe? "toh-mah-toh" "toh-May-toh"  Anywhoo, not a good season for them.  And the vine suckers are like $3.99 for a vine of 3.  Ah, but the Garden State?  I call most of it a concrete jungle.  Although everyone does seem to have a garden of some sort.  Rock gardens are popular.  Pearly white pebbles. 

Hey Dave are you anywhere near Goshen, NY?  or Sugarloaf Mountain?

I'm nowhere near any of those places. I'm in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Which is kind of near ummm nowhere really. I think the nearest American place to me is Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. I don't know much about New Jersey except that's where the bodies get buried in a lot of the movies I watch. Oh, I saw Bon Jovi in concert once too, but i try not to admit it unnecessarily. I definitely prefer anywho, but I'm not in favour of the destruction of those who use the other method. Well maybe I am, I haven't considered it really.

hi everyone! just popping in for a quick read and dave i had to comment on u being canadian...... seeing fort erie is a hop skip and a jump for me, like 15 min... i work with several canadians and ur posts do not have enough "eh's" in them to be a true canadian... eh? just joking :), hope everyone behaved this weekend or at least had fun misbehaving! did u have a two four this weekend dave? i personally stay away from the stuff "eh" ....enjoy!~*yalinda

for a New Jersier i use "eh" a lot.  i travelled Europe with a group of Canadian Mormoms.  they were THE BEST!

and yeah, NJ is where all the bodies go.  if you're missing a body...it's here.

the "Badda-Bings" in the Sopranos is actually an old place called "satin dolls" & all the places they shoot on the opening credits is right on my exit on the turnpike in the Jersey City area.

our corn is quite splendind i must say.  hmmm?...almost corn season too.

not only Bon Jovi but Bruce Springsteen as well!  Frankie Valley, Frank Sinatra, John Travolta...Queen Latifah! hah!  oh Nathan Lane too.  geesh?...NJ is fertile ain't it?

who the heck is in upstate NY?  i could have sworn someone was. yalinda, is it you? which state do you reside?

hey, Sudbury seems very nice.  just looked at Bell Park.  the amptheater is beautiful.

Where'd in Europe didya go eh? I went to Greece when I was aboot 16. No 2-4's for me, nor any 40's, 26ers, or Mickeys, or chubbs. Did have some poutine for lunch on Friday though. T'was delicious.

There's lots of famous Canadians too, but instead of listing them, in the name of international peace I'd just like to take this time to apologize for the whole Celine Dion thing instead. Oh, and Pamela Anderson. Better you than us.

Yes the giant nickel is superb! At the waterfront in Jersey City we have a big CocaCola clock so as Manhattan knows what time it is. And for some reason we've had this 100 foot tall lumberjack statue in front of some tire place for like 30 years.
Oh, maybe there's a dinosaur museum next to a minigolf?
Overseas I stayed in Cantebury, London, Paris, St Michele, Pisa, Perugia, Umbria, Asisi, Florence and Roma. Germany a pit stop on the way back home. (had to get a beer).
I loved Italy the most. Mexico is my 2nd favorite place in the world.
Aaah Greece. very cool.

That sounds like an amazing trip. I'm totally jealous. I was googling jersey city clocks and I just keep seeing the colgate one. Stupid colgate.

I had to google the dinosaur thing. Looks pretty cool, it's about 45 minutes outside of town looks like, but I had no idea it was there at all. Hard to believe I'd leave all this for a rutebega festival.

erin i live in western new york home of the chicken wing! near bflo. and the world famous niagara falls! why anyone would want to go there? i guess i amnot a spokesperson for our area? the only thing good around here is our FOOD!

i am also keeping my pulmonary follow up wioth the quack as i cannot get into another doctor til sept so i may as well keep going to him!?

camama was it u who had the CTscan ? or elcamino? cant remember, what else is new? anyway i dont think that warm feeling is suppose to stay that long? u must have been given a mega dose? but i do know what u r talking about i had that with my ctscan! feels like ur peeing ur pants! not thati know what that feels like? lol really ?!

Hey yalinda. Is there such a thing as an emergency referral in the US? Usually when I ask my family doc for a referral, she puts it down as an emergency referral. Then they just call me when they have a cancellation, usually within a week or two. Might be something to look into. I'm sure it has some legitimate purpose, but we just kind of use them when we have specialist shortages, which is pretty much all the time in my area. I guess a lot of doctors don't like having "Middle of Nowhere" as an address.

I think it was Ducky who had the CT and the subsequent firey groin. That's what happens when you root-sack too much in college I guess.

K no more fun....everyone go back to feeling like crap and being depressed in (3....2....1) NOW! Oh wait, I still have some percocet left. Nevermind.

they dont call u random dave for no reason do they eh? not sure about the emergency referral thing, but of course it really isnt an emergency just a lack of patience on my account!

root-sack is that like when u dont dye ur hair for a while and the growth that comes in? sry i dont think i ever did that root thing? ducky u? i have however dyed my hair since i was 17 and dont have a clue what my real color is anymore other than gray! lol

well keep me laughing .... please! cause deese wrists and fingers day be hurtin real bad .... no thumbs up 7 up for me tonight! ~*yalinda

Hey Yalinda. Doesn't matter if it's an emergency or not. If you really want to get in to see another doctor, just ask your family doctor. The worst that can happen is they will say no, right?

As for root-sacking, I have no idea what it is, but it's part of the wonderful horseradish festival. Apparently Ducky experimented with it in college. I hear a lot of women do.

ps i re googled root sacking and it matters if u put in "root sacking" or "root-sacking" one will answer the mystery and will not! find out
