I want to freaking kill him. OMG he tried sticking needles in my shoulder and hips. He got the first one in my shoulder and I started screaming. I think he knew where it would go if he came at me again. The quack. I left. I'm NOT going back.

I'm exhausted.

Oh and I read my lab report from the xrays. There is C-6, C-7 osteophytes and spondylosis and cervical degenerative disc disease. That's what it said.

Was it steriod injections? Did he not warn you before hand? How are you doing?

Probably. I'm doing horrid. I have an appt with GP in a bit. Have a wicked sore up my nose and it hurts too. I'm tired. I'm witchy. I'm a mess.

I've had cortisone shots before. No problem. This felt like a nuclear bomb fixing to explode the joint. I've had epidural steroid injections about 15 years ago in my back with no painkillers. No problem. I think I'm just at my pain limit. In fact, I know I am.
I said WTH and in spite of the ulcers took 2 alleve. I just have to get a break from the pain...
If the ulcer puts me in the hospital, so much for the better, maybe they'll DO something then.

Back from the GP. Xray confirms yet another sinus infection. On more a/b, omnicef this time.

I am so sorry you are going sooo much. I just wanted to let you know that I was going through the nose sores for months, infact they kept me from starting the enbrel and the RA ended up attacking my lungs and heart. I am still going through the heart thing. But I finally did get to sart my enbrel last friday. But back to the nose, my reg. Physician finally after five rounds of antibiotics gave me septra (you may have alreay tried this) and Bactroban ointment to actually put in the nose with a q-tip. I do have a sore in the very back of my nose, dried bloody sore. But the big sores have been gone since then. I know how frustrating this is. I hope this helps you a little, but then again you may have already been there. Hang in there.

ah saavy :( so sorry u r having such a rough time with everything..... i cant believe ur doctor would just stick u without telling u first what he was gonna do?! maybe he thought u understood? well after allthe shock and pain di it do any thing to reduce ur pain or is it still bad? i wish i could do more for u ..... i just send a hug ur way ((((((((((()))))))))))))))) and know it was gentle :) take care and hopefull tomorrow will be a betterday?

Haven't tried the Septra yet, thanks for the suggestion! ;)

No, the shoulder is still just awful, I think I screamed before he got much of anything done, LOL. It just floors me cuz I have never had any problem enduring any kind of shot, even as a child.

I'm going to talk to my GP tomorrow if I can get hold of him and ask for more referrals. I'm on a mission now. BUT from now on, they better approach me from the front, that way if they try and pull something, I got a good shot at the you-know-whats! LOL
