I will be started Enbrel either this week or next week after a TB test. They apparently got the Insurance to approve it. Don't know how but hey, it's only 60 bucks a month much better than 1350. Here's to hoping it works!!!!
Thanks Everyone.

I also start as soon as it comes in so we can compare notes. My insurance approved it as well after some conversation with my Dr.
Good luck.

No, not yet. They are still waiting on authorization from the insurance company. I guess I didn't know that they could still turn it down. I am suspecting this might be the case since there is no script
yet. I called docs office Thursday and nothing... Living ok off of the pred for now...

Theresa,
Enbrel is a drug that required insurance preauthorization with my last insurance company. If your rheumy did a good job justifying it to the insurance company, and hopefully you don't have reason to believe otherwise, it can take a couple of weeks to get the approval. It took me just shy of 3 weeks to hear back from my insurance co. They had no plans on turning it down--just need to cover all their bases, I guess (in their own time I might add).
Enbrel has been a great drug for me so far.
