Swollen hands on awakening

I am new here, need to find out if anyone has had this problem and what it might be. I wake up and hands hurt and are swollen. After awhile the swelling goes down , but i still have pain fromm time to time, achey and even sharp pains as well. Does this sound like arthiritis? Please send replies. Have a good day. Hil52

Hey there Hil52 - welcome to healing well.. Just from what you described, yes it does sound like arthritis, but there are other things to consider too.. Are your hands swollen at the joints? Is it red and hot? How long have you been feeling this way? Have you tried taking Aleve or Advil?

Anything that is abnormal with your body that happens over an extended period should be checked by your doctor.

Arthritis should not messed with, early treatment is the key....

Get a blood test to see what is goin on.

GO TO THE DOCTOR.
