hello

i feel worse day by day my arthritis progressed so fast.

is spreaded in all my joints now pls i need help and advice!

all blood tests neg

just salmonella antibody in blood but neg in feces

started 2005 nov in right knee than left and progressed in all the joints

nobody knows what kind of arthrtis is

i have pain in knees, ankles and hips and neck and ribs elbows left wrist

my left side is worst now i spreaded from neck to TMJ  i cant eat and sleep on side

coud be AS  or neg RA? symptoms seem to be: hips and ribs and neck pain

i cant believe could be reactive artritis for so long time and progressed so fast

no ESR or C reactive protein RF

on Xray they said could be osteo but is impossible osteo in all the joints

done colonoscopy and endoscopy neg.

please i wait your opinion all of you who have same symptoms

cant stand anymore pain when i walk sit and stand cant leave with these pain anymore antiiflamatory meds dont work anymore mobic hurts my stomach so bad

i'm so sorry to hear you in so much pain. i was in agony for years with AS before i was given remicade.  Your pain sounds awful....and confusing.  Salmonella antibodies in blood still but not inflammation showing in blood.  This may sound a little off the wall but have you tried a strong antihistamine??  I know you are dubious about the reactive arthritis but if it is caused by salmonella antibodies, then it would make sense that your pain remains for as long as they are present.  I have heard of people having similar pain when they have built antibodies against something that is present in their system.  With remicade it can happen and they prescribe antihistamine.  Sorry its such a long shot, i just can't think of anything else.

I am sero-negative, all labs are negative. Do you swell any or have any redness? It was a long time after the pain started before I began to really swell. I am grateful that I had a Dr that recognized sero-neg RA and began treatment as my x-rays show early damage. Maybe a 2nd opinion is in order?

I'm all negative for RA as well just a little inflammation (CRP), you can go to the momwithra string and see that you and are are alot alike.  My doc went aggressive with an RA dx and 3 hospital stays in the last 2 months, working so hard to get a handle on things, I think we're starting to make some headway.  Don't give up! and make sure you and your doc are aggressive!  You get to win, not it.
