At this time i have aches in my fingers, toes and knees. None of my joints ache when i use them and i have no stiffness in the mornings. I seem to ache when im not doing any thing and my joints pop alot. My knees have started aching more and im concerned this will progress into RA. Is this progression tipical of RA or does any one know what all this is about. My doctors seem uninterested and tell me i have axienty (no sh**).
Hi guys, I have been reading your posts for a few days now and wondering weather I have rheumatoid arthritis.
Here is my history.
A year ago I developed an unexplained irritable bowel problem, which totally knocked me for six, I was in pain totally worn-out and feeling very unwell. Thankfully over time those symptoms have mainly passed, but what I am left with is spells of feeling tired, headaches, eye ache and shaking. A few weeks ago I developed a sharp pain under my right big toe, which lasted a couple of weeks. Now Both my big toes ache in the joints, I seem to get aches through the centre of my foot. I have now started getting aches in my thumbs and little twinges in my fingers and hands. I’m bit of a worrier but I don’t think that I’m imagining these symptoms.
I’m a 33-year-old male and I am quite worried about this possibility. My grandmother suffered with rheumatoid arthritis so I have seen how it can affect people. I have an appointment to see my GP on Monday.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Your post could have been written by my 30 yr old son Raggedroy, we thought he might have R/A like me, his mother.
Turns out, they tell us he has gout!!! Do you know if you have been checked for gout?...it is not an old man's disease like many people thinK
It is high uric acid level in the blood that cause the sever pain in your feet, ankles, knees, fingers..you get the idea
I hope this helps you....type in Gout and google it, you may see your symptoms there...and it is a form of arthritis, it just doesnt involve you immune system.
Hope this helps you
