Yally, I love you girl, you are so full of energy when you post
Having a down day? read a post from yally
I'm in Colorado..people love to come here, and visit the beautiful mountains. If you are feeling puney like Sj, the leucovorin works really well...I don't take it now, but the MTX really through me for a loop at first and it would be 10am and I would still be in bed! It felt like I was wading in quick sand..so I wonder if that is what poor Sj, is going through? it can be pretty miserable, you just have no energy! eventually you adjust to the toxic stuff
and I don't take it anymore, just regular folic acid.
Wow! your family will be taking some amazing trips, I'm so jealous!!! Milan? why are you not going my dear?? get that passport if you don't already have one and hop on the plane with hubby! Is he going for his job? What a fabulous place to go and India as well
My son is rafting in Moab right now, that is the extent of his travels for the year, but its still a fun opportunity to get away for the week with his school. I've never been rafting, and I think it would be an awesome thing to do!
Sj,
I share your enough is enough...at bedtime my daughter watches me get out all of my pills and I feel like a geriatric, and she says sheesh mom, you have a ton of pills, and I do!! when I look at the small pile, it seems ridiculous even if some are vitamins. The leucovorin is only taken once per week, the day after, but I know it is still adding yet another pill I think what put me over the edge was adding shots of Enbrel. If everything would just WORK it would be great but none of it seems to work and just get rid of the pain entirely and I think to myself, all of these pills PLUS shots and I still hurt, and I still don't have the energy I did before.. Its not really possible to find a maintenance program for RA! The only medication that does that is prednisone :) Gosh I miss it *sigh* Okay didn't mean to go off on such a tangent!
Happy Hump Day Everybody
