Hi all,

I have psoriatic arthritis, bunions, psoriasis under my toenails and NOW have these hard horribly painful callous things on the bottoms of both feet.  My friend said her father in law had these and he had reumatoid arthritis very bad.  He had to have them cut out?   Guess it's time to see a foot doctor but was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and maybe a different cure?

The humira has helped my knees and legs so much and now can't walk long because these darned feet.

Hey Alicat.. I have them as well.. the callouses develop from walking differently.. Do you have PA in your feet? That's where mine started, and I just started getting the callouses this year.. I take a file to them, and wear them down.. or if you can afford it, go and treat yourself to a pedicure and they will do the same.. if you let them get too bad, then they can be cut out, but so far, I've been able to keep them at a manageable level.. Like everything else, I wait till things are really bad before I go see a doctor.   I tried shaving them down but didn't help much.   Feels like I'm walking on a stone.   Maybe the foot doctor can get them managable and then I can start taking better care of them.   Thanks for the input

Mine used to feel that way too.. I also had to get some shoes, that were better for my feet.. At first, I thought it was bone, but then after I soaked for a long time in the tub, I realized they were just really big callouses.. it took me a while to get it under control, so now, I just have to stay on top of them..
