joints swell with pressure

Hi, I saw a rheumatologist a few weeks ago for some joint pain and swelling that I have been having. I don't have a diagnosis yet, but the dr said it was probably either RA or arthritis associated with my Crohn's disease.

about the same time that I saw the dr, I started on humira for my Crohn's and almost all of the swelling and pain has gone away.

However, I have noticed that if I place a lot of pressure on a joint it swells. For example, I had a project a few weeks ago where I had to cut with scissors a lot and my thumb joint swelled and got tender where the scissors hit it. And then this past weekend I typed a paper and the bottom inside of my palm got swollen where I rested it on the table. This swelling only lasts for a few days and then goes away.
So my question is does anyone else experience this? Is it common in all arthritis or RA or something else?
