I just wanted to thank everyone on this site...
I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease about 10 years ago when I was 23 years old. For the most part, my disease was manageable - only a few little blips along the way, but my life didn't need to change terriblly. I recognize how fortunate that I am in that respect.
Last year, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis.... I can't say that I've been as 'lucky' with this disease as what I've been with my Crohn's. I'm struggling a great deal right now as we try to figure out how to get things under control. Despite being on Immuran, Humira and Prednisone, it just doesn't seem to be working (to be fair, I've only been on the Humira for 4 weeks, and am in the process of trying to taper off the pred).
Anyway, as my fiance and I have been navigating our way through this, I wanted to let you know how much each of you have made the journey just a bit easier.
It's comforting to now that I'm not alone in this.
Wishing everyone good health....
