Two weeks late on Enbrel...

... due to the wonderful healthcare system of England.

So far, so good, slightly stiffer than usual, fibroy as hell, or at least, I think it's fibromyalgia. Wondering if the arthritis is actually in remission.

Will you get your medicine soon? Remission doesn't mean you don't need it- without it - it comes back. Be careful!

My luckier sister went into remission with hydroxychloroquine, and now takes absolutely nothing!

I should hopefully get some meds within the week, it will be interesting to see how I cope without them, arthritis doesn't really come up very often in my day-to-day life these days, I'm more concerned with the horrendous fatigue/fog caused by fibromyalgia, for which I haven't found a sustainable solution yet...

can't you call the doctor? This should never happen...no matter how bad the healthcare system is.

Sometimes Cymbalta is used for Fibro can that help you or can you try that??
So here in the States the following meds are used to treat fibro: Duloxetine which is Cymbalta/ Pregablin which is Lyrica
Gabapentin which is Neurontin/ and Milnacipran which is Savella which also treats Sjogrens
Hope this info helps I got it from the last meeting of our Fibromyalgia local chapter meeting.

I managed to procure some Enbrel today, after finding my doctor's e-mail address on a research paper! Cheeky but it worked.
