can enbrel reduce inflammation from injury?

Hi all, I believe I have a stress fracture in my foot--perhaps from osteoporosis but that hasn't yet been established. I took my weekly enbrel dose last night, and my foot feels significantly better today than it has. It still hurts, but not like it was. Can enbrel reduce the inflammation from injury as well as from inflammatory arthritis? Or are they two different inflammation processes and enbrel only reduces the one associated with the inflammatory arthritides?

I'm not a doctor but I'd say its the same inflammation process that happens whether its injury or arthritis. Our bodies produce fluid to cushion the injured site and bring in antibodies to fight any infection, just with RA it doesn't switch off again so we keep fighting infection that isn't there.
But whether the enbrel is helping with that inflammation specifically I can't say. I know when I sprained my ankle it took 3 times as long to heal becaue of my RA. We're not good healers but I didn't notice if the humira I'm on made any difference to the swelling. Sorry I took a long time to say I don't know!!!
Interesting question though, maybe James might know?
