Plaquenil

ok guys...my doc has decided to increase my prednisone to the same dosage as before and then taper down. has said that when i come in he thinks I probably need to add plaquenil to my meds. I am so tired of my shoulder huritng all the time and not being able to use my left arm that I am willing to try anything. Any advice on this?

Hi, Sunshine,

I took Plaquenil for six months. It takes a while to work, but it worked wonderfully for me. Unfortunately, I had to stop taking it a couple of weeks ago. My tongue got sore and and little red dots on it and my ears were ringing. Since stopping Plaquenil, I have pretty much been in constant pain.

Hope it works for you and that you don't have any side effects.
