Hi Peeps,
Recently for the past 2 and half weeks I have felt very tired and even sleeping in excess of 12-14 hours a night, I wake up but just don't have the energy to stay awake.
Over the last 2 and half days I have had some sharp pain in my lower abdomen, some occassional pain when swallowing food, hiccups for no reason, anyway, last night I went to the ER after noticing blood in my poop and some stuff that looks like skin. (also red after i wiped, was defenitely blood)
I had a similiar problem afew years back and had a colonoscopy and endoscopy and ruled out that the only thing they noticed was a minor case of hiatus hernia, but I use to have pain in my upper abdomen, I have nothing of the like.
I feel very gassing also and feels like I swallowed heaps of air and it's storing in my intestines. Anyway the doctor and ER who was quite nice :) said to me that I may have had an infection, they did bloods and stuck they're finger in my behind for a look and checked if I had a fever.
Anyway im 26 years old with ankylosing spondylitis and decided to post here to see if this sounds familiar to anyone as I am alittle worried and prefer not have another camera up my rear and have to go sleepies again.
I also had flu-like symptoms for 1 night that went away the next day, some of the symptoms I mentioned may not have anything to do with it.
My family has a history WAY back of testicle cancer, who was a cousin of my dad, however, both sides of my family suffer from diabetes and arthritis and that's pretty much it.
Blood tests came up normal and they said my blood pressure seemed a touch high, but still in normal range, was 126/80 when I got it tested last which was a week ago it was 110/80, so not sure if this means anything.
Any feedback or info appreciated, thanks guys :)
