hi and hope everyone is good
i have been diagnosed with RA and in constant pain again but it feels different to when the RA started. i am still taking my meds.
i have pain in my thumb joints, wrists, elbows, knees, hips and back.
I have a mild ache in my fingers when i bend them otherwise nothing and no pain in feet or toes.
I do have other problems with my knees so that don't help but i am wondering if there is something else going on additional to the RA or instead of it
any ideas?
please help got rheumy next week

Welcolme to RA seems it dose just what it wants, sometimes a stab other times an ach or on Fire other times feels like hand is inside a balloon trying to work,i had pain in thumbs hands for years without Any pain in feet then one day Whamy if you touched my toe i went thru roof. i have tried to convince Drs i could have many other illnesses Other than RA -MS,Lupus,you name it But keeps comming back to no thats just how it goes. Take Care Keep as Active as you can early on Without Overstressing joints, swim, and use All Allied health care avalible to you.

Hi Dee, I'm so sorry you are so miserable..I was diagnosed with sero-negative RA after a bout with a horrid stomach bug in 2006 and since then I've since been diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis and Gastroparesis, and premature ovarian failure, so it seems the list just keeps getting longer. Before the RA, I was totally healthy and energetic at 34, now not so much. It does seem with some who have RA there is a steady decline at least that has how it has been for me. I spend much of my time trying to stay on top of the RA and the daily symptoms:) I know it can be terribly frustrating!

What does the physician really mean when they say you have "Autoimmune Diseases" but not really positive for any Lupus, MS, etc. This gets me confused. Any input? Thank you.
