Is anyone on cimzia? My doc is thinking of putting me on this instead of humira. How is it working for you and how much does this cost? I see they have a card for assistance. Anyone have this card? How much does the card cover? Do you take this once a month? Or every two weeks? Any help will be apprieciated

I have been taking Cimzia for nearly a year. None of these types of medications have helped me very much. I was on Remicade, Enbrel, Humira and now Cimzia. I still don't see very much relief. Most people do. I haven't had any bad side-effects, either.

The Cimzia card is great if you have insurance. You only pay $5. I lost my insurance, however, and now I am on their patient assistance program. This is wonderful, as I get my prescription totally free, delivered to my door!

The only downside to Cimzia is that it is administered as 2 injections. You only have to take it once a month, though. Good luck with it!

i had bad reactions to Humira and the Rhumy wants me to take cimzia but i have not taken it as too worried about possible side effects i have also been trying to find others that have been on it and if anyone has had a Good result so far the only replies ive had are No great problems but also No great improvement so thats not good enough for me to warrent taking the risk.

Does anyone know the wholesale cost of this? Example: humira costs $1,516 a month for the two pens a month. Anyone know the cost of Cimzia for there two syringes a month.

I think I am actually feeling better from the Cimzia...I never really know whether it is the medications, or whether I'm just having a good day. However, I have found that recently I have less and less really miserable days. Most of the time, I just feel achey and tired...really tired!

I would give it a try. Some people find it works miracles. I have heard people say they felt like they did before they were diagnosed with RA. I've never found that kind of relief, but I have felt better lately. It could be just the good weather here in Ohio. We're in our few months of Summer. Summer seems to go by in a matter of weeks, with Winter seeming to last several years per season...LOL.
