I was wondering if anyone had a decent idea of what kind of bed would be good for arthritis.
A little background. I'm a 40 year old male with Crohn's disease. My Chrohn's is a bit odd in that it mostly presents itself with arthritis symptoms. I was diagnosed about 20 years ago. I've had constant arthritis since then, my knees both have severe cartilage issues. I've had several operations to repair them, I've also had multiple synovectomies to try to stop the swelling. I also have a lot of painful swelling in my feet and ankles.
Last week I was vacation and I actually felt better for a lot of it. I realized that I was waking up feeling better than usual. It typically takes me 20 minutes and a shower before I stop limping. I was actually getting out of bed feeling fine. I usually get out of bed feeling worse than we I got in it. I'm sure there are a bunch of factors, but I think the bed had something to do with it. It felt softer than my current bed. My bed at home is extremely hard.
Was hoping someone had an idea as to recommended beds for artritis.
