I am 8 weeks out from total right shoulder replacement. I had severe arthritis fron a 20 year old injury. The last 5 years have been bad and I finally could do little more that take a drink of water with my right arm. I had no choice except the replacement. I am not in the pain I was before unless I overdo an activity or exercise but it still is not as bad as pre-surgery, What my surgeon told me was that recovery from total shoulder replacment wwas a marathon and not a sprint, I am diligenty doing all of my stretching exercises and i can now raise my had a little above my head, It's slow but it gives me hope. I now have a tingling down the right side of my arm and not sure what that is about. I think if folks will take it slow and steady the results will come. Good Luck to everyone.
