Hi MsOuchie, Vannie,
Thanks for your replies. I have been given RA. meds. they all work, but I have reactions from them so far. My blood work shows elevated levels in C-reactive protein and now my sed rate levels are elevated. Does anyone know if steroids or RA meds. work on Fibro? I was taking Lyrica and it made it so I could not feel the pain. It was great, but it is just a cover up. But, I was able to move around and do things I haven't done before.... But, then I didn't know If I was overdoing or not. I just think Lyrica just masked the pain and does nothing to help the inflammation.
I have read that tomatoes and meat are not good for inflammation? If there are things that will help it not be as bad I would be glad to eliminate it from my diet most of the time.
It is sooo hard to do things but not get it in a flare up. I am starting to understand the beast. In the summer we got a big long above ground pool. At first I could barely move. As time went on I was doing a lot better on my motion. This winter is very hard on the pain and stiffness. I look forward to the warm weather.
My heart goes out to all of you for I know it is very hard to live with these type of things. It is hard for my family to understand, especially my hubby. One day at a time, or moment by moment
