Thank you all for your advise. I'm not only having serious dental
Issues because of RA But my rheumy sweet as she is really
Frustrates me with her comments. I'm in so much stinking
Pain and she makes comments like you'll be my easiest
Patient today. And your in the beginning stages because I don't have
Bad swelling. It makes me feel as if she thinks I'm not in pain!
I haven't been able to start my meds yet because the pharmasist
Said don't take the methotrexate while taking the strong antibiotics it
Can cause a serious toxic reaction in your bloodstream! When
I told her this she rolled her eyes and said I've never heard
That before. I said I checked with 3 pharmacists. 2 said the same
Thing NO! I don't know about u all but my trust goes to the
Pharmasist that's there expertise. I think I'll look for a new rheumy.
so is it normal for some RA patients to have no swelling and still hurt like heck?

Might be time to seek out help from a different Rheumatoid Arthritis Doctor...
RA is not an easy thing to treat and I'm kinda angry your doctor would say to
you that your the easiest patient of the day, wrong words for any doctor to say...
regardless....please try to seek out better care you deserve it and should get more respect...
Doctor's also need to earn their respect from us too....We deserve and are owed
better treatment...Sure hope your doing better soon...Many well wishes...
try www.drugs.com and look up for yourself what medicines interact with Methotrexate,
keep informed...Prayers being sent to you.

I hate the fact that they can be so flippant with you when you're in pain. Say if you're not treating my pain seriously can you refer me to a pain clinic?

No I'm joking but where do these healers come from?

My rheumy is very caring and listens to me, I can still get frustrated because there is no easy fix and RA is degenerative, there always seems to be pain somewhere in my body. But she is a sweetie and has some good practical solutions to help out.

You need support with this disease.

I agree with Char try and find a new rheumy who gives you the support you deserve.
