I just want to make sure that everyone knows about this and tries it before spending your life on drugs. I was getting terrible pains in my joints-it started in my fingers and then spread to my toes and all other joints, worst of all my hips. in the worst stages, I also got abdominal pain. After a number of years, I finally figured out it was coffee (and caffein). I have tried going off and on coffee over the last ten years and the pain always coincides. I would suggest to anyone who has these symptoms to first go off all processed sugar (since this tends to make you body chemistry more acidic), softdrinks and caffein and see if things get better. It may take a few months to feel "normal" again since cafein causes depression and other symptoms. Even when I cut back to 1 cup per week, I would feel tired and unhappy the next few days so quitting caffein cold turkey is important. For the first few months I recommend plenty of water and excercise, which will help with the tiredness and unhappiness. Please try this before going to prescription drugs to fix your problem. I have met many people who have had the same issues, so I know that it is not just me. I am sure the coffee industry would not want this news out.
