Hi,
I was diagnosed with sacroiliitis in my early 20s, and was told it's related to my history with ulcerative colitis. Most of my tests come back normal though (except bone scan done initially and MRI also showed herniated disc).
I am now on regular blood work because of my daily celebrex. My rheumy called me today because he was concerned with elevated c-reactive protein levels (compared to normal).
What exactly does this mean? Should I be concerned? He is having me re-do the test in 2 weeks to see if it was a temporary thing.
I should note that a few weeks ago I had a bad flare, but am in my "normal" state at present, which means stomach is ok and joints are sore daily but not flare up mode
