I have been too busy so no haven't done the pain study but I felt so sorry for you both stuck in bed with no outside help. Are there charity organisations around you? My friend works for the Hammond agency and she does exactly that goes into peoples homes, makes cups of tea or does the shopping or general help. Not cleaning but minding. They also offer cleaners and theres the meals on wheels people too, my local council offers help. They have volunteers that will come and change your sheets, do the washing , ironing etc. I do a maintenance hydro therapy class to keep mobile and these are the things I learn there! Amazing ah.
So explore yourlocal council and charities, there may be help out there you didn't know about for those occassions when your carer (DH) is sick.
But I know you are in the country so I don't know.
Thinking of you both.
Life is never easy is it?
I seem to be teetering on the edge of a flare again but I don't want to take prednisone and I don't want to ring my rheumy because she'll tell me to go back on it.
Luckily I have kids and a hubby to help me and I, for the first time inmy life, have hired a cleaner. Just can't manage the house especially the stairs and the bathrooms. She starts next week so it'll be a new experience for me.
I hope you guys are ok again now. Best wishes, golitho
