My daughter has been suffering for over 2 years now with extreme pain. She has a positive ANA and also a very high RH factor. Her pain started in her right knee and it never leaves that area but it does become tolerable when she isn't in an "active flare". The pain gradually spreads through her entire body. Her joints become sore first and then her skin cannot be touched. The problem is she shows no sign of inflamation in her blood. She does swell at times but of course it is always gone by the time we can see the doctor. They diagnosed her pain as RSD but this still does not explain her blood results. She has been through treatment for the RSD at CHOP and is now in the second "flare" since her release. Her doctor put her on a new medication for arthritis in October that did bring her out of the flare. Now we are faced with this horrible disease again.. I don't know what else to do. Has anyone had anything like this happen to them?
