ASO question

Hi New Friends, I post on the Lyme board a lot but I'm curious about the possible meaning behind a high positive ASO. I am dealing with a lot of joint pain, but my doctor attributes it to lyme. I've been aggressively treating with abx, and am now off abx and it seems like my blood pressure issues and bone pain have returned, perhaps because the problem wasn't addresses, despite the mega doses of abx.

I'm wondering what other problems I could have, and wanted to get your opinion about what a high pos ASO could mean. I've not had an active strep infection (that I know of) for at least 4 years. Can strep cause hypertension and muscle pain?
