Erin - do you think that maybe the Humira and Pentasa aren't agreeing? Therefore you're not seeing significant improvement like most? I don't know, I'm no where near a dr, but just thought I would give that a stab. What has your dr. say about all this? I don't think you are hold Joe back from anything, it's easy to feel that way, but he knew of your condition when you first got together, so it's not like this should be a surprise to him! He's hung in there, I think what he is probably feeling is helpless, 'cause he doesn't like seeing you in pain and he wants to help, but knows there is very little he can do, other than be there for you, and he has been and still is. You've got a good man, hang on to him girl, don't let this illness doubt what you two share.
Kids and hubby are good, my son had his tonsils/adnoids removed yesterday and we are battling that, he can't keep his meds down.. I posted a thread about it, any suggestions? My husband is still in his cast from his surgery, he's got til Sept 6th before he gets that off... poor guy... but my 2 daughters are well, well for the most part! The younger of the 2 has bad allergies and the oldest, well, thinks she is 38 and she can talk to her Mommy any way she wants.... oh is she WAY off!
Keep a chin up girl, I know it's hard, but you can do it! I know you can, you just like everyone on this forum is a lot stronger than you give yourself credit for. It is the illness trying to get you down... FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT! That was me cheering for you.... Ugly visual I know, but if it works, what they hay, right? Sending you happy, warm and gentle hugs {{{[[[(((HUGS)))]]]}}}
