I have jaw pain but I also have tmj... grit my teeth bad at night. Which makes it worse when my RA flares..

I often get jaw pain, seems my jaw will swell and my teeth go out of alignment. The side of my face will feel hot also and I can chew or open my mouth.

Are you experiencing this too ?

Yes. I have had RA for 20 years and one of the spots it gets me is in the jaw. Sometimes bad enough that I can hardly chew food. If you are going through this I hope you feel better soon. I have not found much that gives relief for this besides pain medication and waiting out the flare. -Don
