RA without symmetry

I am confused .. I was dx with RA but don't have symmetrical joint pain
Right now 1 ankle is bad, and the hip on the other side ..
Do you always need symmetry ?

I don't usually have symmetry. My RA started in my right foot, then moved to the left. After that it was right hand and then left hand. Most days one or another of those four hurt, but not symmetrically. RA isn't as predictable as some doctors believe, in my opinion.

Interesting .. But for me it can be my right foot and left hip .. Not right foot then left foot like you experience .. Who knows ? Maybe that happens down the road .. Hmm

Mine started in my L elbow and then went to both feet and hands. Now 2 years later, the R elbow is painful. Same thing happened with my knees
